Da Shawn Marquese Taylor, 21, faces a preliminary hearing Dec. 4 on a charge that he shot and wounded a co-worker in the parking lot of their workplace in Farmington Hills last month.
He is charged with assault with dangerous weapon-felonious assault.
The Oakland Press reports that Taylor was having a dispute with his co-worker and shot him in the leg on Oct. 15 in the parking lot of Specialty Steel Treating Inc. on 8 Mile Road near Orchard Lake. Taylor called 911 to report the shooting.
The victim was listed in critical condition but is recovering well, Farmington Hills Police Chief Jeff King tells The Oakland Press.
“It was two guys not getting along that escalated into a physical assault and then a shooting,” King said.
Taylor is free on a $10,000 personal bond, which does not require posting money. He is charged with
